Background

The Youth Endowment Fund (YEF) has commissioned Crest Advisory and Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) to deliver two separate research studies.

Crest Advisory is researching youth justice responses to serious violence, weapons offences, and violence against women and girls (VAWG).

MMU is researching current practice around community sentences given to children, focusing on variations in community sentencing decisions.

This survey aims to collect national-level information to inform both research studies. Your feedback will help to improve responses to, and support for, children and young people in the youth justice system.

Crest will also be holding focus groups with practitioners. If you are interested, please sign up at the end of the survey.
