This survey forms part of an independent review being conducted by Crest Advisory into culture in Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service. More information about the review can be found here.
This survey will ask you about your views and experiences of the culture within your fire and rescue service, including what works well and what might need improvement relating to:
- The service’s values
- Leadership and management
- Your experiences of working at the fire and rescue service
- Reporting or speaking up about concerns
- Training, promotion and recruitment.
The survey should take about 30 minutes to complete. You can complete this survey in Welsh or English - use the 'Cy' and 'En' buttons in the bottom right hand corner of the screen to change the language.
Other than questions about which service you work in and your type of role, all questions are optional - you can choose not to answer by selecting ‘prefer not to say’. The survey will close in early November.
The only people who will have access to the information you give when answering the survey will be the independent Review team at Crest Advisory - that is, your answers will not be accessed by your fire service, or any other individual. Crest will ensure when reporting the survey findings that no one is able to be identified from the answers they have given. As survey responses are anonymous, Crest will not be able to identify responses to delete data once it has been submitted. Please see a full Privacy Notice here.
This survey deals with potentially sensitive topics (for example, whether you have personally experienced or witnessed unacceptable behaviour in the service). These questions are there to help us understand the culture within your service in greater depth. You do not need to answer any questions you don’t want to. It is normal to feel distressed after discussing potentially sensitive topics, and details of where you can find support are at the end of the survey and on our website.
